Optimized for Canada (PIPEDA / Law 25) & USA (CCPA / CPRA) • Last Updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Basil360 Logistics Solutions Inc. ("Basil360", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Basil360 Transportation Management System (TMS) — a cloud-based SaaS platform for carriers, freight brokers, shippers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers operating in Canada and the United States.
Basil360 uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to allow users to authenticate securely with their Google account. When you sign in with Google, Basil360 receives your Google account email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture) solely for the purpose of creating and managing your Basil360 account. Basil360 does not use your Google account data for advertising, does not share it with third parties for marketing purposes, and does not access any other Google services or data beyond what is necessary for authentication. Your Google user data is used exclusively to identify your account and personalize your experience within the Basil360 platform. You may revoke Basil360's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com.
Basil360 collects information that identifies, relates to, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you. This includes: account identifiers (name, email address, IP address), organizational profile data (company name, role, MC/DOT numbers), commercial transaction logs, geolocation telemetry from ELD-connected vehicles (GPS coordinates, HOS logs, odometer readings), and driver hours-of-service records required under FMCSA and Transport Canada ELD mandates. All data is processed within tenant-isolated PostgreSQL databases.
Basil360 uses your information to: operate and improve the Basil360 platform; authenticate users via Google Sign-In; manage dispatch operations, load tracking, and route optimization; generate digital documents (BOL, POD, invoices); send operational notifications about your shipments; comply with FMCSA and Transport Canada regulatory requirements; and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25, Basil360 enforces a robust accountability model with a designated Privacy Officer. Canadian users have absolute rights to access, correct, or delete their personal data.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccuracies, and the right to opt-out of any sale of their data. Basil360 does not engage in cross-contextual behavioral tracking or sell consumer data.
For carrier fleet compliance, Basil360 collects GPS geolocation, vehicle diagnostics, and HOS logs from ELD devices (including Samsara integrations). This data is used solely for dispatch operations, compliance reporting, and route optimization. We never monetize or sell this data.
Basil360 protects your data with TLS 1.3 encryption, AES-256 at rest, PostgreSQL row-level security (RLS) for multi-tenant isolation, and zero-trust internal API scopes.
